As the air gateway of Saudi Arabia's "2030 Vision", the Riyadh Airport H-Pier expansion project carries the strategic mission of upgrading the Middle East aviation hub. On the basis of completing the first half of the production organization campaign domestically, the second half of the construction and installation campaign on site abroad has also been fully launched.
The on-site project team is fully committed to promoting from multiple dimensions such as resource coordination, construction organization, process optimization, and technical breakthroughs. With the comprehensive support of the three major elements of people, machines, and materials, the project team broke through the conventional construction rhythm. After 40 days of continuous day and night battles, the project completed the large-scale closure of the main structure of the south curtain wall as scheduled on April 30, 2025, and completed the key delivery node tasks with quality and quantity guaranteed.
Current situation analysis: The construction site is located in the vicinity of the airport operation area, with high difficulty in safety control and coordination scheduling. The construction requires coordination among multiple professional teams to work synchronously, and there are a lot of intersections and constraints in the process. In addition, the short construction period and heavy tasks have placed extremely high demands on the ability to coordinate organization and execution.
Summary of difficulties: As the company's first project in Saudi Arabia, facing the extreme deadline, it is difficult to unify ideas, lack of confidence in performance, limited human resources, and enormous pressure on quality and safety. The project performance is in a stage of tight delivery pace, overlapping resource pressure, and complex organizational coordination. The synchronous compression of time, space, resources, logistics, and management dimensions leads to high risks, fast pace, and difficult collaboration in actual implementation. The completion of project milestones faces enormous challenges.
